Sylwia Sulikowska – artistic biography.
Sylwia Sulikowska was born in Leżajsk on August 3, 2003. She started playing the violin at the age of 6 at the State Primary School of Music in Leżajsk as a student of Danuta Wołoszyn, MA. From the beginning of her education she participated in Music Courses in Łańcut, Przemyśl, Stalowa Wola and Lusławice.
In 2013-2014 she was a member of the 1st edition of the Lusławice Talent Orchestra, which was created at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice. In the years 2013 - 2016 she was a ward of the Pro Musica Bona Foundation in Kraków. In 2015, Sylwia graduated with honors from the Primary School of Music in Leżajsk. In the 2015/2016 school year, she began studying at the Non-State Secondary Music School in Leżajsk in the class of dr Małgorzata Staszewska - Janik. In the years 2018-2021 Sylwia was studying at the State Secondary Music School in Rzeszów under the tutelage of dr Wojciech Wiązownicki. While studying at the Secondary Music School, she was a laureate of the CEA National Auditions for Secondary Music Schools (Stalowa Wola 2020), as well as other violin competitions. In 2021, she graduated with honors from the Secondary Music School in Rzeszów. Currently, Sylwia is a second-year student at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź in the class of prof. Ph.D. Izabela Ceglińska.
