Bio :
Philip Sarrouy is a bass-baritone come from France. In France, he studied at the University of Reims (Philosophy Master,), trained at the Arts PhD of Lille University and in Belgium at the Royal Music Conservatory of Liege. He produced a cinema research at the center for the Study of Contemporary Art of Villeneuve-D’Ascq. Now, he writes an interdisciplinary and fictional writing (Proematic).
In Paris, he perfects his opera practice with Juan Carlos Morales.

He made his debut, as Alcindoro, in La Bohème by Giocomo Puccini, staged by Frédéric Dussenne under the musical direction of Federico Santi at the National Royal Opera of Wallonie.
He performed Morel in Thérèse by Jules Massenet, staged by Daniel Donies, at the "Palais des Beaux-Arts" of Charleroi and at the National Royal Opera of Wallonie with the Aria’s orchestra.
He performed the bass solo from the Verdi’s Requiem at the Philarmonic Auditorium of Liège .
He performed Gregorio in Romeo and Juliette by Charles Gounod, under the musical direction of Yannis Pouspourikas and Eric Lederhandler, adapted and staged by François De Carpentries with the Nuove Musiche’s orchestra.

He was a soloist, in the Mass Di Gloria by Puccini and the Te Deum by Bruckner, with the symphonic chorus of Liège, supervised by Pierre Thimus with the Convivium’s orchestra.
He was Leporello with the Royal Philharmonic’s Orchestra of Liège at the Philarmonic Auditorium of Liège under the musical direction of Gabriel Laufer.
He performed in Portugal Leporello and Don Alfonso in Don Giovanni and Cosi Fan Tutte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at Zézere Art Festival.
He performed Pandolfe, in Cinderella by Jules Massenet at the theatre of Liège.,
At the Auditorium Henri Pousseur of Liège, he performed with the pianist Anne-Françoise Henrijean songs by Gabriel Fauré and Poldowski.
In paris, at the Val de Grace’s Church with the Royal orchestra of the Val de Sambre under the musical direction of Thomas Carré and Bart Bouckaerts, he sang the bass solo in the Seven words of Christ at the cross and in Belgium at the “Palais des Beaux-Arts” of Charleroi.
His repertoire include roles of the Commandant, from Don Giovanni, and Bartolo from Nozze di Figaro by Wolfgan Amadeus Mozart ; Zuniga from Carmen by Georges Bizet; Geronimo in Il Matrimonio Segreto by Domenico Cimarosa ; Abimelech, Samson and Dalilah by Camille Saint-Saëns, The King of Egypt in Aïda by Giuseppe Verdi; Caron in Alceste, by Jean-Batiste Lully.

In Oratorio, Messa da Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi and The Seven words of Christ at the cross by César Franck.Now, his classical singing projects are Banco Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi, König Marke from Tristan und Isolde by Richard Wagner, Sancho Pança from Don Quichotte by Jules Massenet, Herode from L’enfance du Christ by Hector Berlioz..
