My name is Clay, a Chinese student who wants to learn Music Technology. I have decent skills on working with Ableton Live, making electronic music and I can also perform alto saxophone. When I started to learn music technology and acoustics, there were two targets appeared in my mind, the first one is based on the current pop music, by continuous introducing the synthesizer tones and processed sound manufactured by myself to eventually define a new type of music genre. The second one, which I consider as a more technical one, is trying to control artificial intelligence to edit soundtracks, from simulating celebrated singer’s voice, refining the mixing of vocals and instruments to creating data that can be reflected in DAWs or synthesizers, producing projects of acoustic and visual interactions, or real-time audio effect and visual effect controls during performances.
